Design for Change 2023

Design for Change 2023 is a six-week challenge for university and college students across Canada aimed at solving a problem to one of Canada's most pressing societal issues: Homelessness. As a participant, you will identify opportunities to leverage human-centered design to response to the homelessness crisis!

Cisco Innovation Labs Challenge: APIClarity Edition

The Cisco Innovation Labs Challenge: APIClarity Edition is a four-day event where participants will use APIClarity to complete a set of challenges to qualify for $10,000 in prizes. This event is tailored to developers with experience working with Kubernetes and will allow participants to progress through the challenges at their own pace.

RISE: Refugee & Immigration Service Enhancement

Funded by the Government of Canada IRCC, RISE is a tailored innovation training program aimed at helping settlement service providers improve their services. Innovation experts at Hackworks will take selected service providers through user-centered design training workshops and work with them to implement innovation methodologies to make measurable and meaningful improvements to existing client services.
