Innovation experts at Hackworks will take selected service providers through user-centred design training workshops and work with them to implement innovation methodologies to make measurable and meaningful improvements to existing client services.&nbsp;

What is User-Centered Design?
User-centred design is a process of iterative design that focuses on the user at each stage. Designers involve the user through a variety of techniques to ultimately generate a product or system that is highly usable. User-centred design can result in programs and services that better meet client needs and point out gaps. RISE will incorporate user-centred design to facilitate service improvement, but the design training can continue to be beneficial long after involvement in RISE.

Who is Eligible?
We&rsquo;re looking for organizations that provide services to newcomers and refugees who would like to implement change in their services or programming to positively impact their clients.
Participating SPOs must meet the following requirements:

Our innovation experts will develop custom workshops, take you through working sessions, and guide you through a service improvement and measurement pilot. Beyond RISE, the methods your organization learns can be used to tackle any and all problems and to find innovative solutions.</li>
