How to Take Part in the Challenge
➊ Register and create your participant profile
➋ Form your multidisciplinary team (but you can remain solo)
➌ Choose one of the 3 water issues
➍ We'll connect you with the water issues mentors (Water Issue Leaders and Indigenous Knowledge Holders), and you can start working on your solution
➎ Access the various modules and training workshops (aka the AquaHacking curriculum) starting July 7, 2025
➏ Get ready for the semi-final pitch competition
➐ Confirm your official participation semi-final
➑ October 4, 2025: present your solution to a panel of judges, 5 finalist teams will be selected
Only the 5 finalist teams will continue to phase 2:
a. They receive $1,000 each
b. They continue to develop their solution and their business plan
c. They receive mentoring and one-on-one coaching
d. They take part in an intensive weekend of training on leadership in the water sector: Finalists' Expedition from November 7 - 9
e. They pitch their solution and business plan to a panel of judges at the final on February 6, 2026, to determine their ranking and receive their prizes

Additional Benefits:
Each finalist team receives $1,000 at the start of phase 2
All members of the finalist teams receive an AquaHacking certification
All finalist teams will receive a legal support package
All finalist teams will have the opportunity to join a start-up incubator
All finalist teams will be part of the AquaNation (Community of AquaAction’s Programs’ alumni)
